Black-White-Red Aceo

This is my first aceo and was made in June of 2008. I was once told that you always keep your first one to start your collection. The black and white background fabric was purchased from ElleJays on Etsy.com. I hand stitched the red beads, sewed the buttons on and added long red eyelash trim. The red diagonal ribbon was fused to the top left hand side. The flowers were already embelllished on the ribbon.

Muslin was added to the front piece, it was flipped. A piece of cardstock was inserted inside and small statches closed the aceo. 

The back is signed, dated, titled using an archival pen.
