Ray Charles 15" x 20"

Ray Charles' mosaic was a challenge.  His hair is grey and I did not know if you would be able to see it with the color palette that I selected. It looked like a blue blob, to me.  It hung on my wall for a while before I actually "saw" his grey hair. 

As I was walking down my hallway, I saw it from a distance and I suddenly stopped because I "saw" the image in it's entirety!  It surprised me!  It worked!  The entire piece reminds me of one of those photo mosaics that you have to really stare at to see.  Now, it is very clear to me.
